An important message from LIINES

A message from Steph

After a decade of creating music together and sharing countless unforgettable adventures with two of my closest friends, the time is right for me to leave LIINES.

The decision has been difficult, but it is the right one. The three of us are family as much as bandmates and so the door will always remain open. But for now, I will be passing on a much-loved LIINES baton, so they can continue to do what they do best – make great music and deliver intense, energetic live gigs; while I’ll be beginning a different chapter (though inevitably one that will still involve the creation of music).

I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past 10 years – from all of the friendly faces, shared beers, encouragement & floors to sleep on when I/we’ve needed it; to late night lifts home and amps lugged up and down stairs; and also to the many special individuals who’ve taken us under their collective wings to support and push us onto the next steps of our musical journey.

I want to say a particular thank you to close friends and family for their support and relentless gig attendance over the years – and especially to Lisa Mattocks for her boundless patience, vision and all of the many hours spent grafting on band videos, photos, design and god knows what else. I can’t thank any of you enough for sharing in and helping to build all of the memories.

As a fitting tribute and a coming together of everything we’ve created and experienced together as LIINES, we’re putting the finishing touches to our debut album, which will be released later this year. I really hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Many of you have been such an integral part of our journey – Thank you – again, because I don’t think I can say it too many times.

With love,
Steph xx

A message from Zoe and Leila

The three of us have experienced some of the greatest adventures – across the UK and Europe – and it has been an unforgettable honour to do these things together. We’d like to echo Steph’s thanks to the many incredible people who have touched our lives and have supported us along the way.

We would also like to say an extra special thank you to Lisa for everything she has done to support the band creatively and emotionally – you are a great friend, an amazing talent, and a part of our family.

And of course, the biggest thank you to Steph. We love you ♥♥♥

As Steph closes the LIINES chapter of her life, we have no need to be sad. We have created our debut album, which we release later this year and that is OURS forever.

We will continue to take the LIINES adventure as far and wide as we can – with lots already in the pipeline, some of which is sooner than you might think… Watch this space.
